Future Leaders Conference
Our Future Leaders Conference, previously known as the Student Leadership Summit, is an enriching event tailored for students beginning their journey toward future careers. The summit offers invaluable opportunities for career exploration and hands-on experiences through a range of workshops.
This year, we’re thrilled to introduce a special focus on artificial intelligence (AI). In addition to exploring AI, the summit emphasizes skill development through workshops that enhance essential skills like leadership, communication, and problem-solving.

Connect with Industry Experts for Skill Enhancement
Students will have the unique opportunity to connect with industry experts. This direct interaction can significantly enhance their skill set, helping them gain practical insights and guidance from professionals in their chosen fields.
Interactive, Hands-on Workshops
Students participate in engaging workshops designed to help build and enhance their career exploration and educational pathway. Workshop topics include the following: Financial Literacy, Interviewing, Resume Building, Networking, Entrepreneurial Mindset, Time Management, Vision Boards, and Apprenticeships and Internships.
Explore Internship, Apprenticeship, and Volunteer Opportunities
Students can uncover internships, apprenticeships, and volunteer opportunities that align with their interests and aspirations. These experiences are invaluable for their personal and professional growth, enabling them to make informed decisions about their future paths. Students will also learn about the differences and similarities between each opportunity.
AI-focused Innovation Sessions
Join dynamic workshops that dive deep into artificial intelligence. Collaborate on innovative AI projects, engage in interactive sessions showcasing real-world applications, and learn how to leverage AI to expand your own ideas and creativity. Learn about the potential of AI applications in the academic and professional settings.

Empower students to build vital skills with workshops such as Financial Literacy, Networking, Career Mapping, Time Management, and more. From enhancing networking confidence to simulating entrepreneurial ventures, these workshops offer practical insights to shape their future. Workshop presenters can either create a workshop or hand-pick one of the Vital Link created workshops.

Showcase your organization’s opportunities and engage with a diverse pool of talented students at our Student Leadership Summit. To become an exhibitor, you must include available career resources or volunteer/internship opportunities for students to get involved with. It is strongly recommended that the booth incorporates engaging and interactive elements, if possible, in order to create enhanced experiences for students.

General Volunteers will monitor designated locations around the hotel and venue to ensure students stay in classrooms and assist in guiding them to workshop sessions. This role may involve a lot of standing.
Time shift(s) available: (1) 8 am – 11:30 am, (2) 11:00 am – 2:30 pm, (3) All Day 8 am – 2:30 pm.
